Title: Per diem Direct Care Staff
Salary: $13.64 per hour
Work Location: Greater Hartford and Enfield, CT area
Hours: Up to 40 hrs/week. On-call with no regular schedule.
Overnights, evenings and weekend hours.
Type of Program: Supported Living
Employee Profile:
The Per Diem Direct Care Staff assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills in
order to achieve self-fulfillment through their life goals and desires. The ideal candidate
must possess strong communication skills both oral and written; ability to work
independently in a team environment and be flexible to meet program needs; ability to
teach individuals daily living skills; knowledge and respect for diverse population. High
School Education with one year of paid employment and/or training in related field.
First Aid/CPR certification needed. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving
record, use of vehicle, and willingness to transport program participants in own and/or
agency vehicle. Desire to do meaningful work and make a difference in someone’s life a
must. Bilingual/bicultural experience is an asset.
Position is considered per diem and has no employee benefits.
