SERVICES PROVIDED:

This program is designed for individuals who are preparing to live independently in the future, work independently with minimal support, and/or want to take college classes in the future. Individuals may utilize one or more services provided.

Independent Living Skills Training

Financial Skills: Open a bank account in their community, how to read a bill, write a check, basic budgeting.

Wellness: Food Pyramid, reading labels, menu planning, basic meal prep, exercise, stress management, etc.

Socialization: How to access community events

Organization: How to create a "to do" list, how to do basic cleaning and home maintenance.

Safety: Basic safety information such as fire safety and stranger awareness.
